Ascent Trip ReportHead up the road that goes around the W side of Lake Pleasant. You'll pass through an open gate near the lake onto Rayonier timberlands which seem to be open to public non-motorized recreation. Continue circling around Tyee Hill until you are SE of Nelson Hill and turn R at the 374' junction. You'll soon hit a gate and park. The roadwalking from here is pretty obvious. The marked 4WD road is actually a great road and this is definitely a good candidate for a bike. Follow the highest mapped road and then sniff your way to the summit. We found road extensions got us to within a tenth of a mile and open freshly logged ground takes you to the obvious summit. A near trail can be found at times through this. At the summit we found roads coming up from other directions but these don't show on the map and our route was enough that we didn't bother with these. Only 5 minutes of off-trail and no brush. Very straight-forward.
