Ascent of McConville Peak on 2010-04-07
|Date:||Wednesday, April 7, 2010|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||3123 ft / 951 m|
Ascent Trip ReportHiked up a gated BLM road from the right fork of Sardine Creek. Where the road crosses the little no name creek, hiked up the abandoned old logging road on the left. This road makes a good trail as it gains some elevation and switchbacks a couple times until I was .13 mile and about 300 ft below the summit. It was kind of a light bushwhack through the forest and brush up to the forested summit. No views on this hike. The road and summit is all forested.
