Ascent Trip ReportHike #3 of 8 that day. 33miles to Sangerfield vie rt 20. Wanted to take Mccabe but it was a seasonal road. Took Osborne rd then righe on White st to Upper White st. Parked at Tassel hill rd (also seasonal unplowed). Was a little worried about it being posted so check into the farm to make sure it was okay 9ti was) Ran from 1,440' to 1,940') 1.8 miles each way I was the first one up the rd since the last snow, there was good crust and about 1m up it became a snowmobile trail. The whack portion wasn't bad the crust held up well. Total 38:06 for 3.5 miles done at 10:30 am.
