Ascent Trip Report

Used Ralph's GPS track for Lincoln. Not for the faint of heart. Side trail starts off pretty well, actually better than I thought, eventually becomes more and more overgrown. Lost the trail completely about half way up at a slide. Then just a steep bushwhack until you gain the upper ridge. Folks won't take this route unless they really want this summit! Actual lookout site is different than high point on Peakbagger. Looked like another mile over to Lincoln itself, I didn't have enough time after that bushwhack so headed back down. Went down the main ridge until I hit the trail. Found a wilderness ranger coming up the trail, I was surprised as the trail doesn't go anywhere, doubt he went too far!
