I'm mostly interested in climbing various list, although recently I've also been climbing some peaks with prominence because my climbing friends are interested in climbing peaks with prominence. The lists that I'm currently working on include the Sierra Club's Desert Peaks Section list for the second time (currently 86/96 ascents), the club's San Diego 100 Peaks list for the second time (currently 88/100 ascents), the club's Hundred Peaks Section list for the second time (currently 230/281 ascents), the Arizona County High Points list (currently 03/15 ascents), the Las Vegas Mountaineers Classics list (currently 32/50 ascents), the Tahoe-Ogul Peaks list(currently 23/63 ascents), and several personal southern California peak lists. I'm also trying to climb 1000 peaks that are on the Hundred Peaks Section List (currently 759/1000 ascents).

I'm retired and live in the southern California City of Murrieta, and I'm also the editor of the Desert Peaks Section newsletter "The Desert Sage".
