US County High Point Links

John McHugh has self-identified as interested in climbing to the high points of counties in the United States.

I guess my real love of the outdoors began with my first trip to Iceland in 2005. This eventually led to becoming a more frequent hiker and I have been getting more and more hooked on this activity. I enjoy peakbagging, but I hope not to lose sight of my main reasons for hiking - enjoying the great outdoors and getting good exercise.

Though I live in the plain of the (mostly) flat St. Lawrence river valley, I am fairly centrally situated for weekend excursions to hike in Vermont or the Adirondacks, as well as to several of the hilly regions of southern Quebec.
