i had back surgery in 1997,2003. docters told me to quit climbing.i became more determined than ever. motto became dream big and dare to fail.thru jesus all things are possible! praise jesus.i'll be roaming the mountains, valleys, and every nook and cranny till i meet the creator. trail name is crazyhorse.i soloed 103 of the n.e 115. happy trails to all. a poem nadine mclaughlin says it all.the day off. the day was mine,to do with as i pleased,to spend orsquander-or invest-in any way that seemed the best for me. and so i choose to use the hours of my precious day to grow myself in joyful ways that no one else may understand...but me. today, i climbed above my daily lifeand brought back down to earth with me a mountain lake,a summit high,a portion of the sun-lit sky to cherish in my memory's eye: a golden treasure, saved today for future,less-inspiring days when'' rules'' and ''shoulds''again conspire to keep my soul from being free. |
