Ascent Trip Report

I started off way to fast, and was feeling like the oxygen was sucked right out of me. I was thinking of turning back, but Daryn recommended that I go slow and steady, which did the trick as I made the summit. Daryn did a great job leading our group through the Labyrinth in the dark, with only a little assistance needed from the track that I had loaded on my GPS. We did not need the crampons until we reached the glacier. Once on the glacier, we were able to follow somewhat of a broken trail through the icy snow up to the top. Our group left the hut about 2:30 a.m. and returned about 3:00 p.m.
